The Vantage prototype first flew in 1998. Since then, little has happened since it has been having difficulty securing funding. Additional complications have resulted from the involuntary liquidation filing of the company under Chapter 7 of the bankruptcy laws made by a group of five creditors. The Vantage is a single engine aircraft, rather than the more common dual engine configuration commonly found on the other jets in its class. It is a six place aircraft with aft lavatory. Visionaire expects to use a Pratt & Whitney JT15D-5D to power the jet to a speed of 350 KTS at an altitude of 41,000 ft. Expected range is 1,000 NM.
